Who can apply
Check whether you qualify for SECCAP admission, the minimum marks each faculty requires, and how your grade and zone shape your college choices.
You can apply for first-year (HSC Part-I) admission through SECCAP if you meet all of the following.

Your Class 9 / matriculation grade determines the geographic scope of colleges you can apply to.
A+ & A Grade
Open choice — any college in Sindh
Students who obtained an A+ or A grade in their Class 9 result may apply to any government college in Karachi and across Sindh, without being restricted to their residential zone.
B, C, D & E Grade
Zone-based — apply within your own zone only
Students with a B, C, D or E grade should apply to colleges within their own residential zone. Verify your zone on the portal before selecting preferences.
Waiting for your Matric result? You can still secure a place now using your Class 9 marks.
Enter your Class 9 roll number, board and passing year on the application form — these marks are used provisionally by the system when the Matric result is not yet declared.
Your admission is confirmed (or revised) automatically once the official Matric result is available and your actual 10th-class marks are known.
If your final Matric marks fall well below your 9th-class performance and drop under the cut-off, your provisional admission may be cancelled. Keep checking the portal.
Submit your SECCAP application before the last date of your round to be placed on that merit list.
